Internet Safety Day
💻Internet Safety Day💻
Â
Today is Internet Safety Day and in the current climate, with more screen time being used than ever, it is important for all adults to understand how to keep our children safe online.
Â
This year's theme is "An Internet We Can Trust" and we invite you to check out the E-Safety section of our website to refresh your understanding of safe internet use.

Â
At the bottom of the page, you can find a section tailored for adults and one for children.
Â
Take some time today to talk to your child about being safe online. You could try asking them some of the following questions:
Â
📱What are the age restrictions for some of the most popular apps?
📱Show me how to report and block unwanted behaviour?
📱Do you understand that deleted messages can be recovered?
📱Why must you not give out any personal information online?
📱What makes a secure password?
Â
If you would like to know more about staying safe online and can't find the topic in our resources, pop a comment below and we will try and help you.
Â
Be vigilant and stay safe!
