E-Safety
The E-Safety Safety Team
The Internet Safety Team is led by Mrs Skingle and supported by Miss Lobban and Mrs Tania Chapman.
At Shakespeare Primary School, we are dedicated to the safety and well-being of our pupils, their families and our staff. An important aspect of this is ensuring that all stakeholders are 100% e-safety aware.
We have have further developed our e-safety curriculum, which teaches pupils how to stay safe and to protect themselves from harm when using technologies both in school and at home. A key aspect of this is raising awareness of ‘Cyber Bullying’. We hope to foster pupils who are resilient to this and grow up to be respectful users of technology in today’s ever increasing technological world.
However, we are aware that sometimes pupils and their families need a little support, so as well as providing information, we offer the ‘Whisper’ service to families, providing them with a safe way of reporting their concerns. The 'Whisper' button can be found on our home page.
To support you we have added some links below that may help you with your Internet Safety at home.
Our E-Safety Team are happy to help you with any advice you might need in relation to online safety. If you need some help please pop into the school office, call or email and messages will be passed on. We will try to get back to you within 48 hours or earlier if this is an urgent request.
