Our learning in action
Year 5 have enjoyed learning how to use the BBC MicroBits as part of our 'Interactive Display' DT block.
Year 3 have been looking at how to make a picture frame and the importance of triangles in this. They have been exploring how they could use the lollipop sticks and card to start to make their own picture frames.
Year 5 have really enjoyed their DT unit, where we are learning about structures. The children have been discussing how to make the strongest structure and having a go at testing this out. Well done everyone 😃
Year 1 have been learning about structures and how to make shapes stronger. We explored 2D and 3D shapes, made structures using different materials and tested our structures to see which materials were the strongest!
The Nursery have been reading The Little Mermaid. Look how amazing the mermaids are that we made! The Nursery children worked so hard on them
Rauf class have been working hard with Miss Mitchell to complete their DT project. They have shown great perseverance and team work. We can't wait to see their final outcomes - well done everyone
