Enrichment Opportunities in PE

At Shakespeare Primary School, we are committed to fostering a love of physical activity and healthy lifestyles through a diverse range of PE clubs and sports opportunities. Our pupils can engage in a variety of clubs, including football, netball, tag rugby, and athletics, catering to different skill levels and interests. We regularly host friendly fixtures with local schools, such as Knowle Primary, giving students the chance to represent the school and develop teamwork and sportsmanship in a supportive setting. Our PE program also promotes active play during lunchtimes and offers opportunities for children to participate in local tournaments and competitions, encouraging personal growth, fitness, and a lifelong passion for sport.

Additionally, we work closely with the Plymouth School Sports Partnership to provide students with further opportunities to compete in a range of city-wide events and competitions, enhancing their experience and engagement in physical education.
