Foundation - Improving the environment
The Foundation Unit children have been busy gardeners improving their environment outside their classroom. They have carefully dug holes in the soil using the trowels and gently placed in some beautiful flowers before covering up the roots and watering them.
Year 3-Chemistry -Rocks
Year 3 have been exploring the different types of rock: igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary. They have enjoyed forming layers of rock, sand, gravel and water to make their own sedimentary rock model.
Year 4 - Biology - Classifying Organisms
Year 4 have had a fantastic time exploring the animal kingdom. Our young scientists have dived into the world of vertebrates and invertebrates, working together in groups to classify animals based on their characteristics. From butterflies to turtles, the curiosity and teamwork on display has been incredible!
Year 5 - Chemistry - Separating Mixtures
Year 5 have been exploring dissolving in Science. The have been investigating which ingredients were soluble and which were insoluble.
