Latest update on Coronavirus and the school
All children were sent home on Friday with a letter following on from the advice given by the Government on Thursday as the next phase is rolled out.
A copy of the letter can be found here: https://www.shakespeare.plymouth.sch.uk/stream/newsletters/full/1/-//
We can assure you that all children have been shown how to wash their hands effectively and hand washing is taking place at regular points during the day including upon arrival and before leaving the school.
We have been advised that some children are experiencing redness and dry skin as a result of the additional washing. In these instances, we recommend you provide a small tube of fragrance-free cream, suitable for sensitive skin such as E-45, which must be handed to the class teacher for storage during the day.
We will also be updating our social media pages on Facebook and Twitter. To get the latest updates, please follow these pages and switch on notifications. Arbor notifications will also be sent as required.
We thank you for your co-operation during this time and we will continue to update you with information as and when we know more.
