We have loved our wonderful wildlife learning this term!
Well done to a fantastic return to school. The children have been working really hard creating speech bubbles, exploring changes and practicing our new ball skills in PE.
This week we have celebrated Diwali. In Puck class we have made Diwali cards, explored Rangoli patterns and have even made our own Diya lamps!
We read the story of Rama and Sita and found out why Diwali is a special holiday for Hindus.
Wow what a fantastic week Puck class have had! In Math's we have been learning the words fewer, more than and the same as. We have also been learning that it is a lot easier to count objects when they are lined up.
As it is Black History Month we have been learning about Nelson Mandela. The children have loved watching videos, learning new facts and seeing real photographs of him!
We have spent a lot of time outdoors, exploring in forest school, playing with sand and painting with water!
Well done for such a great first term!
Week 5 -
This week we have been learning a lot about autumn and having fun in our spaces!








Week 4 -
What a fantastic week! We have read Oh Boris! this week and have created lots of crafts and activities based around our topic bears. We have also explored our feelings and how the characters felt within the book.
Puck class had a fantastic time exploring in forest school, we have played duck duck goose, hide and seek and lots of team work games. We have had a lot of fun exploring our outdoor areas.




Week 3 -
This week has been very exciting. Some children took part in a model PE lesson with a Real PE instructor. In the lesson we explored space, ways to travel around the hall and discussing what went well with our peers, as well as what we would like to work on next time.
We have also been enjoying our outdoor area and the last of the sunshine! We have learnt how to hopscotch!








Week 2 -
This week has been a very exciting week for foundation. All of the children from Puck class joined Hero class and had their lunches in the hall together.
The children have explored their environment and have worked together in order to tidy up each day after playtime!
This week, we have set up a memorial, within the unit, for the Queen. So the children have a quiet place to reflect and can do some activities celebrating her Majesty's life.
