The children have been working in pairs and using what they have learnt in maths to find errors in an arithmetic paper and proving what mistakes have been made
Science - investigating the affect of adding more volts to a circuit
WW2 Music
The children have been listening to famous pieces of music that was used to entertain and raise spirts during WW2. We have particularly enjoyed ‘We’ll meet again’ by Vera Lynn, the forces Sweetheart. Here, the children were replicating the chorus of ‘We’ll meet again’ on glockenspiels.

Sailing
Celebrating European Day of Languages in the Montague class. Croissants 👍 however, the Brie only had 3 takers!

PE - Core Skills
In our mixed media unit in Art we looked closely at the paintings of Henry Marvell Carr. He was an English World War 2 war artist stationed in North Africa and Italy who also painted several depictions of the war's devastating effect on London. We used oil pastel crayons to replicate parts of his paintings.
