Year 6 have been investigating light, proving that light travels in straight lines and looking at how light source angles can affect the size and shade of a shadow. They have been looking at the very first experiments that discovered how light travels and trying these out in class.
To further our learning, Year 6 also undertook an experiment to see the relationship between the distance of the light source and the height of the shadow cast. This was a great opportunity to combine some Maths and Science together. They looked for the mean and constructed graphs.
